Re: NEO Installation errors

Hey, I have had my OSM 2's for a while and ran into this problem at the beginning. Attempting uploading Sketch uses 26,690 bytes (82%) of program storage space. maximum is 32,256 bytes. avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0000 0x62 != 0x0c Avrudude verification error; content mism...

Re: High Quiescent Current

Good news, I have managed to solve the high sleeping current draw with some modifications to the vectr firmware code. I re-added the low power library and fixed some issues involved with getting it to work properly on the firmware. I can say I can get the light to reliably sleep with next to 0 curre...

Re: Error Uploading [SOLVED]

The first thing I would check is to verify your OSM programmer cable drivers are installed correctly. Try reinstalling the drivers/changing the USB port used with the cable. Another thing to make sure is make sure the chip has the batteries removed if it is in a weird state when uploading the sketch...

Re: OSMv2.1 Pinout Diagram

Good work, this is really cool, I would like to see this on my computer as well so I can tinker. Can you give me a couple search terms to lead me in the right direction? Is this through the serial monitor or a custom sketch that you used? Right, so at the moment I just used a custom sketch to dump ...

Re: OSMv2.1 Pinout Diagram

Dude his is freaking amazeballs! can't wait to see what can be done. Possibly RF? If so it could totally be done using a phone with RF blaster. I did a test with a Galaxy S5 IR blaster and unfortunately the LED does not respond well to it. I think the best bet is something on the spectrum of visibl...

Re: OSMv2.1 Pinout Diagram

I did a simple test to verify what "Green ADC" is by reading the A1 analog sensor value when shining a flashing LED pattern on the LED. Here is the sensor reading when shown a certain type of LED strobe pattern: ss+(2016-10-14+at+12.55.46).png And the sensor reading when shown a different ...

Re: High Quiescent Current

Button lock mode is sleep mode with a modified startup condition and in button lock mode the light draws .06 milliamps just the same as in normal sleep mode. What is interesting is I have seen sleep mode current as high as .25 milliamps which would kill a fresh set of batteries in only 2 weeks. Righ...

High Quiescent Current

So I did some tests and determined the lights drain .06 milliamps when in sleep mode using the Vectr firmware. The same light using NEO firmware draws an amount so small my multimeter can't register it at all. At .06 milliamps and with 79 milliamp hours in a typical 1650 cell, OSM2s with a fresh set...

Re: DIY Programmer Cable

Thank you all for the feedback! I have some GREAT news, my DIY cable works with the OSM2s I just received. Was able to do an EEPROM wipe and NEO install without major issues. THIS IS IMPORTANT: If you get a "programmer unresponsive" error when attempting to upload an arduino sketch, try sw...
